Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. You will produce high-quality CT images, perform CT-guided procedures, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and technologists to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting within the MetroHealth System.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image optimization, and education of patients regarding procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Radiology Technologist registration.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• AHA BLS certification or obtainable within probation.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to maintain understanding.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
