Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to join the team in the Greater Cleveland area. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Cross-training is available, and candidates should hold ARRT CT credentials or obtain them within one year, with Ohio radiographer licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT credential or obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drains, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiology nurses, physicians, and care teams.
