Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, supporting CT-guided procedures, and coordinating imaging services for inpatients and outpatients at MetroHealth Medical Center.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to cross-train, with an emphasis on patient education, safety and teamwork within the CT team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
