Job summary

Carle Health is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and manage contrast administration in compliance with department protocols. The role emphasizes patient safety, image quality, and collaboration with radiologists. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Required are an accredited radiologic education path (AS degree, certificate or completion) and active licensure or ARRT registrations within 1 year (CT preferred). 1+ year radiology experience is noted.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) required or equivalent
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year - ARRT
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year - ARRT or CNMT within 1 year - NMTCB
• BLS within 30 days - AHA

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and invasive procedures per department protocols
• Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast as appropriate
• Reviews cases with radiologist and ensures patient safety and prep
• Maintains imaging equipment and supports cross-trained modalities when needed
• Mentors students and new staff as required
