Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures, prepare and administer contrast, and ensure patient safety under department protocols. The role includes reviewing patient history, assisting radiologists, and potentially serving as CT Lead in the absence of leadership.

Candidates must hold ARRT CT/ Radiography registrations or CNMT, BLS, and relevant licensure, with 1+ year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Radiologic Technology training required.
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology acceptable.
• Must meet licensure/certification requirements as listed.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and related imaging.
• Administers IV/oral/rectal contrast as appropriate.
• Ensures patient safety and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Assists in instruction of students and new staff.
• May perform duties of CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator in absence of leadership.
