Job summary

Carle Health’s CT Technologist role performs CT procedures using imaging equipment and contrast materials, preparing and administering contrast per Carle policies. This position qualifies for a sign-on bonus.

The CT Technologist reviews orders, conducts multiplanar reformats or 3D rendered images, and monitors for adverse reactions while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA or equivalent).
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year (ARRT).
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year (ARRT) or CNMT within 1 year (NMTCB).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and prepares/ administers contrast per policy.
• Reviews cases with radiologist and performs 3D/ multiplanar imaging as needed.
• Monitors for adverse reactions and ensures patient safety.
• May assist in instruction of students and cross-train in other modalities.
