Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, manage contrast administration, and ensure patient safety across procedures. The role involves reviewing orders, collaborating with radiologists, and maintaining imaging quality and equipment.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree or radiologic technology certification, BLS, ARRT CT (or CNMT) within 1 year, and ARRT radiography within 1 year. Sign-on bonus available for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA).
• ARRT Radiography registration within 1 year.
• ARRT CT registration within 1 year or CNMT certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and related invasive procedures per department protocols, including 3D rendered images and multiplanar reformats.
• Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast as appropriate; monitors for adverse reactions.
• Ensures safety, screens for pregnancy when applicable, and maintains equipment and workflow efficiency.
• Mentors students and new staff and may lead CT imaging activities in absence of CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator.
