Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures with contrast, ensuring patient safety and adherence to department protocols. The technologist will acquire multiplanar reformats and 3D renders, review patient history, and coordinate patient flow.

The role offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for teaching and cross-training. Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT CT certification, and at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Performs CT procedures with attention to patient safety and protocol.
• Supports accurate exam results by reviewing patient history and labs.
• Mentors students and new staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and associated invasive procedures per department protocols.
• Review radiology orders and patient history to ensure medical necessity.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Cross-train and assist in other modalities as needed.
