Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the team. You will produce CT images, support CT-guided procedures, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients across diverse patient populations including trauma, stroke, and cancer cases.

The role emphasizes cross-training within the CT group, requires ARRT and Ohio licensure, and offers a sign-on bonus for external applicants. Shifts include days/evenings with 4x10-hour schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.
• Willing to cross-train in CT within the team.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
