Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT RT license required (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)).
• Radiologic Tech license in CA required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence to geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted CT images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and manages supply inventory.
