Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation in an outpatient setting.

The role requires ARRT CT certification and CA licensure, BLS, and adherence to HIPAA. Experience with PACS and teleradiology is preferred; fluoroscopy may be involved in CA locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Licensure/ certifications: ARRT RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT (R)(ARRT) required.
• CA Radiologic Tech license required in CA.
• Advanced CT certification: required in OR/HI; preferred in CA.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence to geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
