Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment. This role supports a Level III NICU and trauma center, with a rotating 12-hour shift and SEIU representation.

The candidate will perform three modalities regularly, maintain BLS and ARRT certifications, and meet state licensure requirements. A strong emphasis on safety, patient care, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound examinations competently.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; tests crash cart and defibrillator.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for imaging procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
