Formación

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT RT CT certification required/arrt RT (R) CT (ARRT) or RT (R) (ARRT)
• State license as Radiologic Tech in CA required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA/OR

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information; adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
