Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista in Nipomo, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and mammography equipment, and help the imaging department meet its goals. The role requires proficiency in at least three modalities and a commitment to patient safety.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, state RT licensure, and BLS. Higher degrees are preferred; three years’ experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate\'s Degree in radiologic technology required.
• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree preferred.
• Three years\' technical experience preferred.
• Current ARRT certification and state RT licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound examinations within the scope of the modality and experience.
• Safely transport and transfer patients; test defibrillator and crash cart; perform mobile imaging as needed.
• Prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
