Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greets patients at the department and assists with paperwork and scheduling questions.
• Escorts patients to dressing areas and assists with transfers as needed.
• Performs IV access and assists with contrast preparation under technologist direction.
• Properly pads, positions, and centers the patient for imaging according to protocols.
• Monitors patient throughout exam as needed and provides discharge instructions.
• Reports equipment issues and assists with daily QC testing and room preparation.
• Transports patients to and from the unit and prepares the exam room.
