Job summary

UPMC Altoona is seeking a full-time MRI/CT support role to assist technologists in daily imaging services. You will greet patients, prepare paperwork, answer scheduling questions, and help with consent and history intake.

You will position patients, aid transfers, monitor telemetry if needed, and maintain room readiness under technologist direction. A high school diploma and at least one year in a medical office are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year of previous medical office experience.
• Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred.
• IV insertion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets patients on arrival, assists with paperwork, scheduling inquiries and patient history.
• Positions patient and MRI coil or CT table for proper imaging; assists transfers and telemetry when needed.
• Assists with IV access, oral contrast prep, and follows technologist guidance.
