Job summary

Qualifications

• Transports patients to and from unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transports patient to and from unit when required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows guidelines for GFR criteria.
• Assists with invasive procedure tray setup and courier specimens to lab as needed.
• Practices established MRI safety and radiation safety protocols.
• Accurately schedules exams into RIS and reschedules as needed, contacting patients for additional scanning.
• Assists technologist with patient care and workflow, knowledgeable of procedural processes.
• Verifies patient identity using two identifiers; prepares patient with pre and post education; documents history and reviews orders.
