MetroHealth radiology CT Technologist position in the Cleveland area focuses on producing high-quality CT images and assisting with CT-guided procedures. You will work with nurses, physicians and technologists to deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, educating patients about procedures, and applying strong communication and critical thinking under pressure. Cross-training is available within Radiology.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT Radiology Technologist certification
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period

Responsabilidades

• Produce high-quality CT images in diverse settings
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Schedule and coordinate for inpatients and outpatients
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team
