MetroHealth radiology department is seeking a CT Technologist to support the trauma and variety of patient populations at our Cleveland-area facility. The role emphasizes producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT-registered with CT credential (or obtaining within a year), and hold a valid Ohio radiographer

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsabilités

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Exercise on-the-spot critical thinking and decision making.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and patients.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
