Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in the Greater Cleveland area seeks a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce quality CT images, assist with CT‑guided procedures, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Work is 4x10‑hour shifts (days/evenings), 1:00 pm–11:30 pm, with 80 hours biweekly and every 4th Sunday on weekends; on-site in Newburgh Heights, OH. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration, Ohio

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (Radiography).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and works well under stress.
