Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an experienced CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans in a hospital setting, collaborating with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will operate CT equipment, position patients, manage contrast administration under supervision, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification or equivalent credential.
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Experience performing CT scans in clinical/hospital setting.
• Proficient with CT technology and PACS/RIS.
• Strong communication and patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of imaging safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic scans per orders and department protocols.
• Position patients to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort; follow safety guidelines.
• Prepare and administer contrast under supervision.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of procedures.
• Inspect and maintain imaging equipment; report malfunctions.
• Uphold infection control and patient confidentiality.
