Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross‑section images for diagnostic purposes, interpret physicians' instructions, administer contrast, and operate CT equipment to capture accurate images. The role emphasizes patient safety and precise technique within established radiation guidelines.

You will position patients, ensure image quality, and collaborate with radiologists using EPIC, Radiant, and PACS.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with ARRT.
• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology
