Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. You will interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT equipment, and position patients to capture the required images.

The role requires ARRT registration, an accredited radiology program, and state licensure, with CT certification preferred. You will work with Epic, Radiant, and PACS in a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• Required ARRT registration.
• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Radiology.
• State license in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
