Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations under radiologist direction. You will adapt procedures to optimize diagnostic results and ensure patient safety across all ages.

The role emphasizes competency with CT equipment, image quality, and accurate documentation in the HIS STAR Radiology system, while supporting efficient patient flow and timely reporting to physicians.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year.
• ARRT Radiography certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Associate degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures ensuring accurate and complete examinations per policy and radiologist direction.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CT procedures and imaging techniques.
• Deviate from routines as patient condition requires or per radiologist request.
• Assist radiologist with invasive procedures and adhere to sterile practices.
• Ensure patient safety and move/prepare patients as required.
• Document accurate procedure information in HIS STAR Radiology system.
