Job summary

Carle Health in Cedar Rapids is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform CT examinations, adapt procedures to optimize diagnostic results, and prepare patients for scans. You will work under the direction of a radiologist, maintaining patient safety and high-quality imaging throughout exams.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation in the HIS STAR Radiology system, strong knowledge of CT hardware and software, and collaboration with radiology teams to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year and ARRT radiography registration.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• IEMA licensure or state-specific radiologic technology licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with accuracy and clinical judgment.
• Adapt protocols per patient condition under radiologist direction.
• Maintain equipment readiness and safety standards throughout exams.
• Document exam data in HIS STAR Radiology system and report results timely.
