Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in CT to perform routine and specialized CT examinations. You will adapt procedures under a radiologist direction, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Certified in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year (ARRT)
• Registered in Radiography (R) (ARRT)
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA)
• Education: Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology; Associate’s Degree in a Related Field

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with clinical excellence and produce accurate examinations.
• Operate CT equipment and labs, adhering to safety, QA/QC, and patient flow requirements.
• Deviate from routine protocols when patient condition requires, under radiologist direction.
• Assist radiologist with procedures and sterile setup as needed.
• Ensure timely reporting by documenting exam data in HIS STAR Radiology system.
