Job summary

Carle Health seeks a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT studies, adapting procedures under radiologist direction to achieve precise diagnostic results. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality imaging, and efficient workflow across ages.

You will ensure accurate documentation, manage equipment resources, and support timely delivery of reports to the physician’s office while maintaining a clean, safe imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in CT (ARRT) required within 1 year.
• BLS certification required within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in state (IEMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with accuracy for patients of all ages.
• Adapts procedures under radiologist direction as needed.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and safety standards.
• Documents pre- and post-procedure information.
• Ensures timely report turnaround to the physician’s office.
• Maintains patient flow and keeps work area clean and stocked.
