Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT who will perform CT imaging, assist with procedures and educate patients. The role requires collaboration with nurses, physicians, and radiologists to ensure safe, high-quality care for trauma, stroke, and cancer patients in a demanding hospital setting.

The position features nights on a 5x12 schedule with a biweekly 60-hour load, starting at 7p and ending at 7a, with every other Sunday on call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) and CT credential within 12 months
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required
• American Heart Association BLS certification or within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Handle patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking while working under stress with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care team members to deliver patient-centered care.
