Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Night shift at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER in Cleveland, Ohio. This position supports CT imaging, patient care, and CT-guided procedures, with cross-training opportunities and a busy trauma-focused department.

You will produce quality CT images, assist with biopsies and drain placements, educate patients, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients while maintaining safety and excellent communication with radiologists and nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
