Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Parma, Ohio, is seeking a CT Technologist to join the night shift. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided biopsies and drain placements, and help coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and Ohio radiographer licensure; BLS is required or soon after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication within a CT team.
