Job summary

MetroHealth in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the night shift team. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

You will work with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and radiologists, maintain patient safety, and communicate effectively under pressure. Required ARRT CT credential, Ohio license, and a BLS certification; prior CT experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking.
• Effective communication skills.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
