Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided biopsies, drains, and tumor ablations, and coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

You will educate patients to ensure understanding and comfort while working closely with radiologists and nursing staff. Qualifications include ARRT CT credential, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtained within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures (biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations).
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and examinations to ensure comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and staff as CT team member.
