Job summary

MetroHealth joins its Radiology Department to hire a CT Technologist for CT imaging and procedures. You will generate high-quality CT images, support CT-guided biopsies and ablations, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT certification/licensure and Ohio Radiographer license, with BLS. Night shifts are 5x12 hours every two weeks, weekends every other Sunday, and cross-training is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.
• One year related CT experience (preferred).
• Advanced ARRT CT certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and communicates effectively.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT)

ARRT CT credential or within 1 year of employment

Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)

American Heart Association BLS Certification or within probationary period
