Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts in the Radiology Department. You will operate CT imaging equipment, produce diagnostic-quality CT images, and assist with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements.

The role involves patient coordination, education, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other staff. Qualifications include ARRT credentials, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• ARRT CT credential or obtainable within one year of employment
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtainable within probationary period

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assist CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort
• Work with CT team and other care staff to provide safe imaging services
