Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Cleveland, OH (MetroHealth Medical Center). This night-shift position requires producing high-quality CT images, performing CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient care for inpatients and outpatients.

You will work with nurses, physicians, and other care team members, and educate patients on procedures to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration required (CT credential within 1 year).
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required.
• BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images.
• Assist CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication with the team.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
