Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a CT Technologist to provide CT imaging for patients and assist physicians in expediting needed care at Good Samaritan Hospital. Duties include performing diagnostic and interventional CT procedures per department protocols, providing image feedback for improvement, and addressing patient needs while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

Maintaining efficiency and adhering to behavioral standards with patients, coworkers, and physicians are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License required at time of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
• CT certification within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures per department protocols.
• Provide feedback on images to aid improvement.
• Address patient and service needs according to age-specific, service-specific and disease-specific criteria.
• Identify patients using proper procedures and maintain privacy.
• Assist in QA reviews and uphold professional standards.
