Job summary

Kindred Hospital Louisville is seeking a CT Technologist to perform specialized CT scans and ensure patient safety in a long-term acute care setting. You will work with a radiology team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities include operating CT scanners and contrast delivery, positioning patients, following radiation safety, verifying scans, documenting doses, training new technologists, and supporting the radiologist during interventional CT procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiography program or CT course.
• ARRT certification in Radiography RT(R) and/or CT RT(CT) and current BLS.
• Minimum one year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following radiation safety procedures.
• Position patients and assist with CT procedures, including immobilization as needed.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Load and administer contrast media for CT scans.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and maintain patient records.
• Provide orientation and training for new CT technologists.
