Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Kentucky seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in computed tomography. Provides CT imaging and patient care at defined levels, adhering to ALARA and safety standards.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, preparing and administering contrast media as allowed, and assisting physicians during CT procedures. Requires RT(R) and RT(CT) licensure by hire; BLS within 90 days. No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Applies ALARA principle to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepares for and assists the physician in computed tomography procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
