Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at UofL Hospital in Louisville, KY. You will work with radiologists to deliver high-quality cross-sectional imaging.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, protocol adherence, contrast administration, and maintaining safety standards. Requires ARRT certification, KY radiography license, BLS, and 1 year CT experience; on-site, full-time role with opportunities to train students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography.
• KY Radiation Operators certification; CT certification preferred within 1 year.
• BLS certification is required or obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans per established protocols with accurate positioning.
• Maintain high standards of radiation safety and patient care.
• Assist radiologist with CT examinations including biopsies and drainages.
• Prepare and administer contrast media per policy and regulations.
• Instruct and educate patients pre- and post-exam.
• Document exams in the hospital information system.
• Participate in training Radiologic Technology students.
