Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification and BLS.
• License/certifications per state requirements (IEMA IL mentioned).
• Education includes a radiologic technology certificate or related associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures accurately for all ages under radiologist supervision.
• Adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and safety standards.
• Document pre/post procedure information and report issues.
• Ensure patient flow and timely turnaround for reports.
• Train technologists and students as needed.
• Promote patient safety and quality of care.
