Job summary

Carle Health in Columbia, SC is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations, adapting procedures under the radiologist’s direction to achieve diagnostic results. The role requires ARRT CT and Radiography registrations, BLS within 30 days, and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

Qualifications

• Registered in CT with ARRT within 1 year.
• Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT.
• BLS within 30 days - AHA; Licensed Radiologic Technologist - IEMA; Education: Radiologic Technology certificate; Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures accurately and within department guidelines.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Assist radiologist and manage pre/post procedure data.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of workspace.
• Document exams in HIS STAR Radiology system.
