Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale NewHaven Health, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and CT imaging under a Radiologist’s supervision. You will ensure high-quality images, patient safety, and efficient workflow within a patient-centered care team.

The role requires ARRT certification, CT experience, and CT scanner operation skill, with CT PACS familiarity and strong communication for patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved radiologic technology program and ARRT Certification.
• Connecticut State License required.
• AS preferred, BS recommended in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for interpretation by radiologists.
• Operate radiographic equipment to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Prepare examination rooms with cleanliness and supplies.
• Explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Schedule radiologic exams to support department operations.
• Participate in teaching opportunities to expand knowledge.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce CT images.
• Chaperone patients when necessary.
