Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT scanning procedures and support patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires ARRT (R) and CT credentials, 1–2 years CT experience, and CT licensure in Connecticut, with BLS certification.

The technologist will prioritize patient safety, assist with interventional procedures when needed, and maintain accurate documentation and day logs as part of the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARRT approved program in radiologic technology required or preferred.
• Connecticut State radiographer license required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT scanning procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Explain exam to patients and complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Prepare room and equipment, ensure proper setup and aseptic technique, and operate CT equipment safely.
• Maintain communication with the radiology team to optimize patient flow and image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain readiness for interventional procedures.
