Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio seeks a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will operate CT scanners, produce diagnostic images, and assist with CT-guided procedures in a busy setting. Must be ARRT-registered with CT credential within a year and hold an Ohio radiographer license.

Night shift, 5x12-hour blocks every two weeks, on-call with every-other Sunday. MetroHealth offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT credential; 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and work well independently or as part of CT team.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
