Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging technologists with exam room prep and infection control.
• Verify patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist patient in exam preparation and transfers between rooms.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and obtain patient info.
• Review medical records and physician orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Position patients and select exposure factors under supervision.
• Document images and patient records in RIS/PACS per workflows.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care and communication as patients are served.
