Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a JR CERT Radiologic program is required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physics related to radiologic technology.
• Knowledge of basic radiologic techniques.
• Knowledge of procedures to produce quality radiographs.
• Knowledge of radiation safety during imaging.
• Ability to communicate with patients of all ages and cultures.
• Ability to work in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in limited CT procedures with a consistently high quality.
• Assist CT technologists by positioning patients and providing equipment.
• Review paperwork and instructions prior to each procedure.
• Help safely transfer patients onto CT examination tables.
• Provide comfort to patients and monitor status during procedures.
• Verify patient identity and explain examinations clearly.
• Ensure proper labeling and positioning of radiographs.
• Prioritize and assist with exams, including emergencies.
