Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee in Arcadia, CA to support imaging workflows and patient care under supervision. You will learn positioning, contrast protocols, image processing, and quality assurance while assisting seasoned radiologic technologists.

The role emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, strong communication with patients and staff, and ongoing professional development. A credentialed radiology program completion and BLS are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
• Must have current ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification and/or applicable State CT license within RadNet policy timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing patients for CT exams and explains procedures.
• Learns positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observes and assists with administering contrast media under supervision.
• Supports technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participates in educational activities and on-the-job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient procedures.
• Provides professional and compassionate care during the imaging process.
• Completes administrative tasks and data entry as assigned.
