Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a highly capable Sr Executive Coordinator / Project Coordinator to support the Chief Scientific Officer at our San Rafael, CA headquarters. This role combines high-level executive support with coordination of scientific, operational, and cross-functional initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will anticipate needs, drive organization and prioritization, and ensure seamless execution of day-to-day activities and strategic priorities with strong project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting senior executives.
• Strong project coordination experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High discretion and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex and dynamic calendar aligned to strategic priorities.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel.
• Prepare agendas and materials for key meetings and reviews, including RED LT meetings.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders.
• Draft communications and presentations and gain appropriate approvals.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Coordinate and track activities and actions across the RED LT.
• Support leadership team meeting cadence and maintain trackers for deliverables.
• Identify risks and drive resolution; support executive reporting.
• Maintain Teams/SharePoint workspaces; streamline workflows.
• Support internal communications and cross-functional liaison.
