Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Network Engineer - Intermediate to support NETCOM operations at Fort Bragg, NC. The role focuses on designing, configuring, and maintaining NSA CSfC-aligned network solutions and securely supporting DoD environments on-site.

You will apply DoD STIGs, manage PKI, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS, and provide on-site training and documentation. A Secret clearance and IAT II certification are required, with 3+ years in network engineering.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Active IAT II certification required.
• Active Professional Network certification (e.g., CCNA) required.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering.
• BA/BS = 5 years; AA = 7 years (equivalency).

Responsibilities

• ArchitectsCommercial Solutions for CSfC-compliant networks per NSA/DoD requirements.
• Develops and modifies system scripts and writes configuration guides, test procedures, results, and training materials.
• Provides onsite training on daily use, management, and troubleshooting of solutions after installation.
• Supports all Cross-Domain solution requirements and designs approved infrastructure.
• Acts as escalation contact during outages for Tier 2/3 systems.
• Authors network Engineering Design Packages with detailed implementation plans and procedures.
• Configures network, software, and hardware to meet CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements.
• Performs network design and systems integration for secure communications networks.
• Manages PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions; configures CA systems.
