ITC Federal, LLC seeks a Network Engineer to support a Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) deployment at Fort Meade, MD. This role emphasizes hands-on management of network infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and troubleshooting in a 24x7x365 environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of network engineering experience, active Federal SECRET clearance, and current IAT Level II certification. Onsite at Fort Meade with strong operational security skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Active Federal SECRET clearance.
• Current, active IAT Level II cyber security certification (Security+, CySA+, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of VLANs, routing (BGP/EIGRP/OSPF), IPsec VPNs, PKI, DNS, SNMP, packet filtering.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN termination appliances.
• Plan and perform platform software updates and DR operations.
• Configure network segments with a security-first approach.
• Test, document, and report system status for operations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software network problems; replace faulty components.
• Monitor performance and plan future changes.
• Collaborate with software, test, and operations teams.
